What is it?

Float Therapy is a sensory deprivation experience held in our private, open float rooms. The water in our tanks are heated to our skins temperature and filled with 450kg of Epsom Salts so your body is able to float without any effort.

Imagine you’re floating in a dark, soundproof room, you’ll be sure to escape into deep relaxation. Don't like silence or darkness? No worries, you can choose to listen to guided meditation or relaxation music and have the tank lights switched on.

Improves sleep patterns Your entire body including your joint, bones and muscles are given a break when floating as gravity isn't an issue. 1 hours worth of sleep in a float therapy session can be equivalent to 4-6 hours of uninterrupted deep sleep.

Improves muscle & joint recovery Floating increases blood flow to the brain and organs which helps decrease muscle and joint pain. This is beneficial for any pain disorders including arthritis, tendinitis and bursitis.

Decreases Anxiety & Depression The levels of magnesium salt in the tank help to regulate your body's stress hormone and also triggers the release of endorphins. It provides an environment that helps the nervous system take a break from the outside exposure to daily stresses.

Before Booking

If you've never floated before, it's important to understand the protocols, so you're walking into your appointment like a pro!

Avoid shaving or laser 48 hours before your appointment. The amount of salt in the tank can cause irritation to the skin.

Fake tan to be removed. Fake tans must be 100% removed from your body to enable you to float.

Remove all jewellery. All jewellery must be removed before entering the float tank.

Have a bit of food on your stomach. A small meal an hour before your float can reduce the chances of your belly growling, which can be super loud disruption when you're floating.

Try to avoid caffeine or any stimulants 4-6 hours ahead of your float. That can interrupt the relaxation response!

Have you coloured your hair recently? It's important that you don't book in for a float, within 2 days of colouring your hair.
